Rules of Procedure for Civil, Criminal, Juvenile, Probate, Family, Special Actions, Protective Orders, Civil and Criminal Appeals, and Rules of the Supreme Court have changed

The Arizona Supreme Court and the State Bar of Arizona‘s Rule of Law Task Force will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—known as the United States Semiquincentennial—by hosting a statewide event where lawyers will reaffirm their Oath of Admission to practice law in Arizona.
The centerpiece of this historic event will be the reaffirmation ceremony, with Chief Justice Ann Timmer and Presiding Judge Pamela Gates, Superior Court in Maricopa County, administering the oath for Phoenix and surrounding areas and each county‘s presiding judge administering the oath locally. Ceremonies will take place at courthouses across Arizona on February 12, 2026.
