Don Bivens left his equity partnership in Snell & Wilmer, LLP, in July 2021 to start Don Bivens, PLLC. Before joining Snell & Wilmer as a partner in 2006, Don was a name partner in the boutique litigation firm of Meyer, Hendricks & Bivens. Don is a magna cum laude graduate of Yale University. Staci Maret is one of the first two applicants to pass the Arizona Legal Paraprofessional test in 2021 and is among the first group of Legal Paraprofessionals to obtain a license to practice family law. Before that, Staci was a paralegal for nearly twenty years.  Staci’s clients benefit from her experience as a family law mediator and a volunteer mediator in local Justice Courts as she advocates to reach agreements outside of Court whenever possible. DeShon Pullen is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona and has training in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Stephanie D. Villalobos is the founder and President of De Novo Law, LLC. She was the first Legal Paraprofessional to be licensed by the State Bar of Arizona, and established the first Legal Paraprofessional firm in Arizona. Stephanie has been in the legal field.  She has a deep passion for advocating for people and over the years has enjoyed helping clients during a very difficult time in their lives. Lisa Stone is A/V rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been named to the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and to the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. Lisa is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is a Sustaining Member of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. Lisa is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts having served as Arizona’s chapter president in 2005. Regular Entrée: Homemade meatloaf with haircot verts, mashed potatoes, gravy.
 
Vegan Entrée: Grilled vegetable Napoleon with green tomatillo sauce.
 
All meals served with rolls and butter, baby spinach salad with craisins, feta cheese, creamy balsamic (GF), and pumpkin pie with non-dairy whipped cream (DF).




Share the fun!  Invite a friend to experience the networking, social and educational opportunities of the Scottsdale Bar Association!  Current members may invite a prospective member to attend an upcoming lunch for free.  Here are the rules:
 
1.  The guest must be eligible for membership in the Scottsdale Bar Association.  See www.scottsdalebar.org, click on Membership Information, then Membership Categories.

2.  The guest cannot be a former Scottsdale Bar member.

3.  The guest cannot have attended lunch for free in the past.

4.  The member must attend the luncheon with the guest.
 
5. The member must register him/herself for the luncheon, then contact Paige Martin at paigemartinesq@aol.com with the guest’s name and email address, and choice of regular or vegan meal, so that she can register the guest.  Member registration and the request for guest registration must be completed before the registration cut-off on the Friday before the luncheon, at noon.

6.  The member can only invite one guest to any luncheon.

7.  The member is responsible for following up with his/her guest after the luncheon to invite the guest to join Scottsdale Bar.

8.  The Board of Directors reserves the right to limit the number of guests attending each luncheon.
